Would you go to a black tie event if you were still suffering from m/s?

DH has this fancy event to attend next week. I'm still feeling like S&@#$ with morning sickness and heartburn. Secondly, I have absolutely nothing to wear!

Would you still try to go?

I already missed 3 weddings due to feeling miserable. I normally love getting dressed up and going out when I am not pregnant.

I would, are you sick all day or just in the mornings. I would at least try and if you feel like crap you can leave.

I'm feeling better than my first trimester (when I literally was in bed all day) but I still feel pretty crappy. I will feel ok for 1-2 hours at a time and then I'll start feeling nauseous again and end up puking and feeling miserable for the next few hours. I don't think i've gone to any events at all since being pregnant, not even a simple dinner out.

I would try to go. If it's black tie I'm guessing it's pretty important. Like a PP said, if you don't feel well you can leave early. Besides you deserve a night out!!
