iphone is overrated. yes, it does some amazing things with apps but blackberrys and google phones have plenty of apps too.
at&t coverage is horrible just as an fyi

My friend did though. She loves the Iphone but the service is definitely not as good as Verizon.

my husband did -- biggest mistake ever.
I kept my Verizon Bberry (business) and got the Iphone (personal) and I don't even use the iphone for the phone b/c the service is the worst.ever.

Nope. Had Verizon since 1997 (when it was Bell Atlantic) and never had one issue.
DH on the other hand has had Sprint, Cingular, AT&T and HATED it. He's now with Verizon with me

I have had ATT since 2002 and have not had any problems with service and have had the iphone for 2 years and cant live without it....
DH has the blackberry and ive tried it and HATE it.....if def doesnt do all the things the iphone does.

No. I'm up in March and will wait for then. Money is too tight right now to do that anyway.
I have looked at the Droid and the Eris and am not happy with either.

I have an Iphone and DH had one and lost it and decided to cancel At&T and go back to Verizon for the Droid. He likes it so much better and the service is far superior too.

I agree with this. You can probably get AT&T to pay the fee if you can prove you will have to pay it.
Verizon service is overrated and expensive for what you get. I am not a huge fan of AT&T but I would definitely take them over Verizon.
AT&T has made a lot of service improvements over the past six months. It's way better now than it used to be.
