Re: WW weekly weigh in

I was up 1.8 today, which I was kind of sad about. I was at a conference last week and didn't really have much choice of food; I ate what I was given.

I am now 6 lbs away from my goal...Further than the last weigh in! But I will get back on board...

Well, yesterday I went for my third weigh in and I lost 2lbs so that make my total weight loss of 6.2. Last week I was up by.2 because AF was here so this week I am so happy. Getting there slowly but surely. WooHoo!!!!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon

Congrats to everyone!! Keep up the good work.

I was up .6. I'm not too upset about it, since I haven't weighed in in almost a month. I am 5 pounds away from being at my goal weight!

Thats because you are beautiful Gail. The plateaus are one of the most irritating parts of losing weight. And unfortunately, because we get impatient, its the plateaus that get people to fall in to the rut that they never quite get out of and end up not losing more weight. Just be patient. Maybe an extra half hour of walking around the block a week. Add something extra. Also...are you drinking enough water?

Re: WW weekly weigh in

Yeah.........water is very important.
I have also found that the combination of oatmeal and a lowfat or carbcontrol yogurt in the morning is a good kickstart to the old metabolism in the morningChat Icon

Re: WW weekly weigh in

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I just read my post and I see how you took it....ha ha..woops. I should've posted the ol' metabolism. You are far from old Gail!!!Chat Icon Well....do oatmeal and mix it with some sort of dairy...maybe a skim milk or skim chocolate milk...that would be a fine dairy substitute. And hey...if your waist looks smaller but the scale is the same..who cares!!!!! You are obviously losing inches and that is important!! After all...I don't care how much I weigh, so long as I look and feel good!!!Chat Icon

How long have you been on a plateau?
