WWYD-Mommies whose DCs are in toddler beds..
Christopher has been in his toddler bed for about a week now. He loves it, and gives us no problems. He also doesn't have a bedrail.
He is going to stay with my parents overnight next Friday-Saturday and they have a pack and play, and they also have a full bed that is low to the ground, which would you use?
I told my mom to use the bed and she is unsure...

Well, if I were in this situation with DD, I'd choose the bed and probably would get a bedrail for it to be safe...DD is WAY too stubborn/strong-willed so going from a bed to a PNP and then back to a bed would probably not go well with us
I know C3 is much more even-tempered than that But I'd probably still choose the bed (but get a bedrail)

Re: WWYD-Mommies whose DCs are in toddler beds..
DS has been in a toddler bed since right after Christmas. When he goes for sleepovers, he still uses the pack n play, that way I don't have to worry about him getting up in the middle of the night in other people's houses and if he'd be safe. He doesn't give us any trouble with going down in the PNP, even after being in the toddler bed so long.
PS I do this cause he does have night he gets out of bed and we never even hear him. Just last week, I came into the living room at 4am to shut off the TV cause DH had fallen asleep ont he couch watching it and I almost screamed when I turned around and looked at the recliner and he was smiling up at me. Lord only knows how long he had been up watching TV int he middle of the night and Lord knows how often he does this and I didn't even know.

DD is still in her crib at home, but when we've gone away, she's slept in a bed...she never really liked the pack and play...
So I'd say go with the bed...especially if he's used to that at home...

I would have them use the bed....maybe they can push the bed against one wall and then just buffer the other side with pillows.
But Christopher is so easy going, that if they were uncomfy about it, I doubt one or two nights in the PNP would bother him, KWIM?
