WWYD? Renter and Landlord?
A little background. DH, dd and I live on the ground floor of a 2 family house. My landlord is a friend of mine from college. We share a front door. He lives upstairs by himself.
My problem- he slams the front door. Normally I don't care. But he always slams it as he comes home (he works nights) so it's usually between 9-10 pm and then again if he leaves to go out for the night. And I don't mean shuts the door loud, I mean SLAMS. It wakes the baby up 5 out of 7 nights. I know it's not done on purpose bc he does know how to shut it quietly.
Do i say something to him? The only thing holding me back is that it's HIS house...
This is so stupid I know

You pay rent so I think it shouldn't be a problem bringing it to his attention.
Like you said, he prob just doesn't realize it.

I would mention to him that it is waking up the baby. He's your friend, I am sure he won't have a problem with you bringing this up.
