WWYD two parties on same day
Would you attend a communion party for the child of your first cousin or nephews (from inlaw side so they aren't invited to the communion party) birthday party (not 1st birthday ). You're not able to attend both because of distance which would be more important to attend?, which would you choose?

The communion is more important. I guess it depends on how close you are with your first cousin.

If you were close with your cousin is say communion. If your not that close with your cousin then the birthday party.

Whichever one has an open bar?
Probably the communion. That happens only once in a lifetime, whereas there will be loads of future birthday parties.

This is what I would do ( as I am just as close to my cousins and their children as I am my niece and nephew ) .
