WWYD: Unsual party invite & gift ???
Via Facebook I received an invitation for a surprise 25 th Anniversary party at a campground from 1 pm -3 pm on a Saturday somewhere Upstate.
I have never heard of a party being two hours long!
I get it being at a campground, they are very "country"
Would you make a 3 hours trip for a 2 hour party?
What does one get someone who is married for 25 years and not into the traditional gifts a couple married for 25 years would receive?

Would I go? Most likely, but it would depend on who it was and where it was. Maybe you can make it a long weekend and take a little time out for the party.
Gift - Since it's at a campground I assume they like to go camping. I'd get a gas gc and write something in the card about enjoying their next camping trip. I have a cousin who likes to rent an RV and she and her DH go in that on vacation stopping at different campgrounds, they'd love having some of the gas paid for.

Re: WWYD: Unsual party invite & gift ???
I recently used FbB to do a party invite & it uses a default setting of two hours as an end time. For my 4th of July party people thought I was starting it at 3 and ending it at 5 Can you check with someone to see if the times are correct? I'd probably go.

I never thought about the duration as an error. I am going to check with someone.
Thanks!
