WWYD Xmas Treet related....
We always get a real tree. This year we are going away for a week right before Xmas. DH wants to get our tree before we go away around 12/14, but I don't feel comfortable with that since we won't be home. It will be a PITA bc we'll have to buy it on 12/23 and set it up right away.
When would you get it?
TIA!

Any shot of getting it earlier and have a neighbor water and check on it? Getting on 12/23 is totally a PITA.

What about getting the tree in advance and leave it setting in a big bowl of water, then decorate it when you get home?

That's a good idea - we could leave it the backyard.

that's a great idea. Do not do that in the house. I would be scared of that as well. Outside is the best idea.
