I think it is no one's place to judge and I honestly have NO idea what I would do in that situation. 
This is what I was going to say as well...
I think that they made the choice that their doctor and they came together. They ahve to do what is best for their family.
Honestly, with another child at home and to try to protect the other baby, I may terminate....

I am so sorry your friend has to make such a heart-wrenching decision.
Having done IVF to get pregnant- I can honestly say I STILL don't know what I would do unless I was put in that situation. It must be horrible.

If my doctor felt it was best for me to terminate, I would most likely do so.

If it were me...no I would never terminate.
But If it were my friend, I would support them 100% in their decision regardless of my feelings on it, because it's not for me to judge not having walked in their shoes.
What a horrible thing to have to go through

That is such a hard decision to make and I can say what my opinion would be now, but you never know until your in that situation. It's a very difficult time for them and a very difficult situation for them to have to make a choice. Many prayers to them.
In the end you have to do what you feel is right and what you can live with.

Frankly, I have absolutely positively NO idea what I would do in that situation. I would hope that DH & I would research, research, and research some more, discuss everything with the MDs, get a second opinion, and then make an informed decision about what is best for our family.
I agree...I have no idea what I would in this situation. This is a tough one and I feel sorry for them to have to make this decision.

Wow, as I have learned about these things - it's really based on your situation. I know myself and in the past I would have taken as far as posible in the hopes that everything would be fine. I would absolutely have to do as much research as possible and put faith in my doctors to give me the best information.
I guess that if I could loose al three or two and definately save one - I would go that route.
It's such a hard decision and I am sure that they are so upset (beyond).

I think it is easy to say what you would do when you are not in this horrible situation.
I say I would never terminate but until a doctor tells me that my other baby might die I have no idea what I would actually do.
I agree, this is not a situation where I would give ANY advise. I would just love and support my friend because there is no right or wrong answer and honestly, this is heartbreaking.
