WWYD...Progesterone
My progesterone was a 21 and now it is a 8.2. They would like to see 10 or higher. Today I called because I was concerned that it will drop by the time my sono is done on Thursday.I asked if I can start the suppositories and they said it was up to me but Dr. says I am close to 10 so its ok and it may delay things. I got the impression that they don’t think this is a viable pregnancy and if God forbid miscarry and was on the progesterone it will Delay getting my period. I also asked again whats the lowest number to start progesterone and she said 10 and I said but mine is 8.2 she said well Dr. thinks its close to 10 so its ok and she wants to see more on Thursday. I don't get this!
I am leaning towards taking them, don't want to have any regrets.

Re: WWYD...Progesterone
Take the Progesterone. It's certainly not gong to hurt anything if you do.
I just love the vague messages from nurses and doctors.

I would take it. If in the end, I would rather know you tried everything.

Re: WWYD...Progesterone
There's literally no downside. If it delays a period, it won't be by much whatsoever. I'd take it.

Re: WWYD...Progesterone
Definitely take the progesterone. From the other thread, I thought your betas looked good? Why doesn't the doctor think it might not be viable? Either way, I would take the progesterone. It really can't hurt and you want to try everything.

I agree with this. When I was pregnant back in December I was put in bed rest just in case my bleeding was a SCH. I missed my DDs first school dance. I was devastated missing such a monumental event but when I MCed 3 days later I was at least at peace that I did everything possible to keep my baby.

Re: WWYD...Progesterone
Yes take it. I mentioned in my previous post that my re told me my levels were fine but I firmly believed that my pregnancy stuck because of the progesterone supps (I was on crinone)

Crashing. My progesterone dropped from 21 to 14 and then the next day I started spotting, which leads me to believe it was plummeting. I went on crinone. DD is sleeping next to me, so my pregnancy was certainly viable even though my progesterone was dropping.
Take the progesterone.

Re: WWYD...Progesterone
Definitely take the progesterone. My RE always liked to see the levels above 10/11. With DD and DS I had drops in progesterone while on PIO and/or suppositories. Mine went as low as 6.? with DD(now 32 months) and I had a drop with DS but I don't recall how low it went(he's now 9 months) and I had spotting with him(first 2 months).
Good Luck

She didn't exactly say that but the way she came across like oh lets see on Thursday. If I was told that anything under 10 would need suppositories and they don't think I need it sounds weird to me. She was saying well your numbers are rising slowly I was like well they are doubling. So it was just my gut feeling...but thank you!
