Thanks guys. 
I swear this tide HAS to turn, b/c I don't know how much more I can take. 
Though honestly after a little while of thinking tonight I thought, maybe it's turning... b/c one or both of us could've gotten REALLY hurt or worse. I've heard such horror stories w/ big MALE deer hitting ppls cars, w/ their antlers, and thrashing them around b/c they get stuck & can't back out, and had he been just a second later his head/antlers would've gone right through my DH's window.
A car is just a car- it's replaceable, but my DH isn't. So I'm very thankful tonight...  Please let this be the start of the tide turning....

Ok, I just have to add....I guess that's what happens when you live in the boonies!!!!  Here I just have to worry about squirrels, you have deer.

Lol- thanks. In all the years I've lived out here- none of us have ever hit a deer, but a deer hit my dad over 10 years ago (in Riverhead no less, not even way out here) and now this one which hit us last night.
Both my DH and I have sore necks today.  I broke down this morning- I told him I want to go into hibernation b/c I'm sick of these hits- they're not awful (except the miscarriage) but they're not pleasant either--- how many more do we have to get????? Why do I feel like everyone around us (this board excluded  ) is fine and has a lot of things going their way and we just keep getting  Don't mind me- I just got back from the auto mechanic w/ a rental car. The mechanic feels our car isn't driveable, which is strange considering that we drove it in and it's handling fine.  So now we have a rental car.

So glad you guys are okay!
I hate driving at night where I live as we are overly populated with deer. My biggest fear is being hit by one, or hitting one myself. I almost collided with one in my driveway once.

At least you are okay...
We went out to the vineyards with friends last year and I was driving when this deer literally came out of nowhere and was running towards the truck. Thankfully, my friend saw it and yelled so I hit the brake....he ran inches in front of the truck and it was a big buck.
