Re: yay or nay, bottle warmer
I have read that if you never get the baby used to a warmed bottle they will never know the difference.
This way you can make their bottle with room temp water and they will be fine with it.
That's what we are doing....

Re: yay or nay, bottle warmer
Here's my take....it's nice to have it but it definitely not a necessity....
We started with powdered formula and that quickly went out the window, so I did use a bottle warmer...I wanted DS's bottles to be at least room temp when he was little....he had reflux so I didn't want to make matters worse with a cold bottle.
If I went out I generally didn't have a problem securing something to warm a bottle in, even if it was running hot tap water.....but if they are hungry enough they'll drink at any temp.
I would hold on to it for a bit if you can, but if the bottles you are planning to use won't even fit, then I would return it.

awww, thanks!!! I will keep it in mind, if you dont mind. We are planning to use Tommee Tippee bottles and they dont fit in most warmers. If we decide to go with the Dr. Brown's 100%, you might get an FM from me
ive decided to return. $50 will buy a lot of bottles or diapers Thanks girls for all the helpful insight!

WOW--we have a First Years one, too, but I guess they've made it fancy now!
