Yay or nay? Ceiling fans for bedroom?
Do you have one in your master bedroom and/or bedrooms in your home? If not, do you wish you would have put one in?
We have one now, but we are moving our bedroom and not sure if I should get a ceiling fan for the new room, since I want to put high hats in the master. We do not have central air, but do have an air conditioner if that matters at all.

I have a ceiling fan in the master.
I use it just about every night, unless the bedroom is cool enough.

Personally I don't really care for the look of a ceiling fan that much, but our house had one in the master bedroom and so we left it. I had plans to take it out and put in a light - UNTIL one night when the AC broke and it was the middle of a heat wave. The ceiling fan works great!!! Now I will leave it as an insurance policy on the central air breaking. I absolutely can not sleep if it's too hot.

we don't have any in our house right now, but plan on putting one in the master br. it's the largest and a fan won't look funny in there. i think the other bedrooms are too small for them.

I wish we had one but our ceilings are low on the 2nd floor so if I put one in DH would get decapitated.

Same for us. I love our ceiling fans.
me too! and the cost savings are a lot when you compare the fan to the ac!

All my new rooms have them, and I'll be putting one in the master bedroom soon. It saves a lot of money on electricity, and it's nice when it's too cool for AC, but too warm to not have the air moving.

We have central air - and we put fans in every bedroom.
We have high hats too.
It's so nice in the summer to have the windows open and the fan on.

We have one in our Master Bedroom, but it doesn't have a light fixture. Instead we have high-hats and sconces for lighting. We use our fan every night.
The other bedrooms have them with the attached light fixture.

I would barely use it in a bedroom unless during the day in the Summer.
I would wake up with a sore throat with a fan on all night.

See I want high hats in the bedroom, but I know DH is gonna want a fan in there too. So its not silly to have high hats in the bedroom along with the ceiling fan.

I love my ceiling fan in my bedroom, I use it all the time. Even when we redo our bedroom I want to have one. They are great even in the winter time when it gets a little to stuffy
