I watched the video too. The arm motions he was doing is something he has done in many of his speeches when he has been speaking about different people. The disabled reporter in question doesnt even have that particular mannerism (from the videos I saw). But someone took a freeze frame of a particular moment and put it next to a still picture of the reporter showing his disabled arm, and that is the only thing that the majority of people saw.
I thought the same thing. He was just flailing around to show someone who was backpedaling and confused. And yes, I saw the entire video. As someone with my own "handicap", I don't need anyone to tell me what I feel is wrong regarding the video I watched of him. I don't see it as a big deal, I have a right to my opinion. Anyone can get offended about any single thing and people find every reason to get offended these days it seems.
Well, I can certainly tell you that his actions have offended MANY. Especially those of us with children that have special needs, and DO hand flap like that.
But again, you are a DT supporter, I fully expect you to excuse his actions.

I assume you are referring to me? It may surprise you to know, that me and my family are directly responsible for starting the TBI Unit at St. Mary's Hospital for Children, which at the time, was the only TBI Rehab of it's kind in the country for children. In fact, that is why when you daughter was sick, I FM'd you offering to help you with information when you had written on here that she was being sent there. I don't know ultimately if that's where she ended up. I also volunteered at the hospital with TBI patients , along with many others and worked there for quite a few years. But keep believing I am a horrible person.

Alone- the back and forth, the FB banter, LIF threads are out of control. And now- RIOTS and media reports that California wants to go on its own. Come on America! This is out of control. He won fair and square. That's democracy. We all have the right to vote and there is a winner.
Not for anything I did NOT want Obama as president, nor did many republicans. Did you see riots??? Did Texas say they want to break away from the US??? Go back and search LIF, were the liberals attacked the way the conservatives are being attacked now.

Maybe you can make an argument for him not being blatantly, overtly racist. But you can't overlook the fact that his supporters have taken his words to justify acts of hate and violence against others.

I will say I personally did not believe this story at all when it came out. It just sounded very fake and made up to me. So thanks for posting this.

Any kid could do that any day. The one with the red writing on the calendar page? Looks fake to me too. Or those both could be unrelated. The first one could be real, but could also not be. The one with the car, well sure there are crazies out there. But ALL of these accounts, no way, some will absolutely be BS. Just like the girl whose hijab was ripped off her head (now coming out as a fake story in the news)…ok…

How about when he stood at a rally, asked the non Christian conservatives to raise their hands and then jokingly asked the others if they should let them stay? The minute he implies that Christians have the right to tell me where I can and cannot be bc I'm not Christian is terrifying and infuriating from our future president. Those actions are exactly why we're seeing stories of anyone different being taunted right now by those who think Trump made it okay through his example.

I don't know the full story about this, other than what you have posted. I would need to know more. Just from what you posted, sure it does not sound like a very smart thing to say, even if he was trying to be funny. But, I can say the same about Hillary calling Trump supporters deplorables or Hillary's campaign calling Catholics "severely backwards". For me the bottom line is they both have said things that were less than ideal for a presidential candidate, who is looking to appeal to voters and setting an example for the people of the US.

I wasn't basing my comment on that picture, I based it on this whole thread. Maybe I watched another election year. Maybe I really didn't hear the vulgar shit come out his mouth. The media is a very convenient scapegoat, once again.
But if you care to follow up, Trump regularly retweeted accounts like "White Genocide." And let's see if he denounces the parade the KKK is throwing in his honor. Neither of those are generated by the media.
The media has also not really gone into his fraud case, or the civil suit connected to a rape. So he can't complain the media is being unfair. They gave him almost 2 billion dollars of coverage and allowed him to skate for months.

Also want to add, I don't care what her story is. That gives her no right to tell me I am delusional when I was responding my thoughts just to "pictures" posted. RIDICULOUS. Nothing gives you the right to tell me what I can and cannot say. What nerve really you have. I have no plan to listen to you, so don't bother trying to tell me what I can and cannot do.
