By getting ready do you mean be there to get her hair done and get dressed together...IMO that is not needed. As long as she shows up at a certain time ready dressed for a few pictures and then head out together.
I have been in a few weddign since my DS and one i got ready with the gorup the other I showed up in enough time for pictures and to hop in the limo.
I have to agree with this. Who cares if she gets ready with you or not. So long as she's there on time and for pics. She agreed to be a bridesmaid, not a personal servant for the day lol

If she knows she has a pita kid, why agree to be in the bp? Unless there's something else going on as pp said, money etc.
She had a falling out with the bride a year ago. Honestly, I am surprised she is even a bridesmaid. I think the bride wants to take back asking her to be a bridesmaid but it is probably too late for that. Not sure if there is more behind the scenes drama.
I am just going to go with the flow and do whatever the bride wants me to do.

So there's the issue.
She had the falling out, so it seems like there's more for the bride to nitpick about.
