Your thoughts on Driving to Florida - Please read
My parents live in Florida and they really want us to visit over the CHristmas vacation. DH and I both teach so I cannot leave early. Airline prices are about 380.00 per person  .
Would you drive to Florida with a 6 1/2 year old and a 3 year old? It is such a long ride. We would have 7 full days there.

I drove down there when Emma was 18 months. It took about 2 days. We stayed for a week. It was 11 days overall. I would do it again, but perfer to fly!

When I was growing up we'd drive down to FLA every year. There was 4 of us. I remember doing it around 5 years old and I was the 2nd oldest - so figure 7, 5, 3, 1. We always had fun :) Although I'm not sure if my Dad and stepmom did

We are going to Florida too over the vacation. I am flying with a then 3 month old, and my DH is driving our 12 yo DD and 12 yo neice.
I am flying for free via credit card points. Do you have any of those types of cards?

I did it with a 6 mo old and a 4 yr old last Feb and am doing it again this december. I think its fine.

I would. I wouldn't do it if I had less time there but you would still have 7 full days.
