Dh just laid off!!
He was in construction, ladders, scaffolding. He has had experience in driving, warehouse, selling, customer service, etc.
If anyone knows of any construction or driving jobs (he doesn't have his CDL though), I would really appreciate it.
Suffolk or Nassau County

I'm not sure if your dh is interested but tell him while he is still looking to apply for some city jobs. My brother works for sanitation. (20 years and you can retire) I'm pretty sure you can apply as long as you are in NY. He got his CDL and other licences (sp) paid for ( or at least the classes). I don't know if a test is coming up soon but check it out

Thanks. I looked it up but you have to live in NYC, Westchester or Nassau County. We are in Suffolk. I appreciate the help though!!

Tell him to check this website weekly www.Lijobfinder.com
It lists lots of jobs in the areas he has experience, including companies that will train to get his CDL. They update weekly, and all the jobs are on Long Island.
