My SIL just went through this and it was found around the time you found out. They did remove the cyst and she just gave birth to a healthy baby boy 1 week ago! My prayers are with you!!!!

as a labor and delivery nurse I see this happen a lot and they surgically remove it and life is good. As much as it sucks, there is light at the end of this tunnel! Best of luck!

I just wanted to give everyone  having a support system is so awesome..thank you for all of your prayers and hugs..Hopefully I'll know more Friday on what they are going to do..Waiting sucks!!!

Just wanted to give you some hugs I actually need to wear a catheter for the remainder of my pregnancy most likely because there is a fibroid blocking my bladder and not letting me go naturally (I'm 18 weeks tomorrow). I guess these things just happen in pregnancy.
Hope it is all taken care of soon!!

Thank you. Its so weird because I go to the GYNO every six months..i've never had a cyst or anything before and now this..sheesh..so much for an uneventful pregnancy!!!
My cysts were dormant for YEARS until I got PG. Mine ruptured on its own, and that was scary b/c it made me bleed & was quite painful. Sometimes they can shrink too. Is there another doctor that you'd get a scond opinion from before considering any treatrment options?

I guess I could get a second opinion but what if that doctor says we don't need to take it out. Who do I beilieve..do I go for like a third opinion like a tie breaker? I've never had anything like this so I'm sorry if I sound like a dunce.

Hmm, no I understand. I say do a ton of research then & make sure that what you are hearing is concurrent with the research. Anytime I have to look somethign up I usually hit WebMD & then I google the condition along with Mayo Clinic.

My advice as to having been through this is to stay off the internet trying to find answers. It only makes you more worried, you suddenly go off in different directions thinking the worst. Each case is independent of any other. Some things may sound similar but your doctors know and wouldn't risk telling you wrong info or putting you through unnecessary procedures. My doctor said let's cross our fingers and hope it shrinks but it will reach a point when things will need to be taken care of.
It will all work out.
