We think Cooper has a cold... Question...
He's never had a cold before, how do we treat it??? 
Sorry if this is the stupidest questions ever!

With a BT I'd take him to the vet. They have shortened sinuses so it is very important to make sure that the sinus cavity is cleared.
ETA my vet gave my Pug a saline & anti-biotics.

OK, these are his symptoms, tell me if he has a cold or not....
His nose is extremely wet, not wet like it would normally be, but wet like dripping wet wet (Coop's nose is usually on the dry side). He's been sneezing a lot in the morning and he seems to be gaking (for lack of a better word) mucus mixed with some food. My mom is fur-babysitting right now and she said it sounds like he's coughing. But his food intake is the same, he's drinking water and he's running around like a crazy man.... cold??

hmmmmm, maybe allergies....... not that I am a vet, but usually when my dogs have a cold they are lethargic, not running around. Does he have a fever or does his head feel hot to the touch?

Yes. Dogs can def get fevers.
If you think it may be a cold or even allergies, please take him to the vet.

oh yes. It can be hard to tell though b/c they overheat easily from exertion, but the do indeed.
I agree with reggie, I think the vet is the best place to start
