Need helpo asap- especially ela teachers

I am takingon an online classa nd this is my next assignemnt:
Take a running record on one of your students. Use the information presented in your reading to do a miscue analysis of the student’s error pattern. What did you learn about this student as a reader? Which cueing system are they using, or not using? Be sure to post specific examples from the running record you took. What intervention plan can you develop for this student to address the findings of the miscue analysis?

What is a running recore? Hwo do i do a miscue analysis? What is a cueing system?

Can you tell i teach Matha nd Science? LOL

That link is really helpful. Running records are a good way to assess what the younger students are doing in thier reading...it allows you to see what strategies they are using etc and will help you in guiding your lessons with the child.

we do all that when we administer the DRA to our students to test for reading lvels.
