Any ladies here taking nifedipine (Procardia) for preterm labor?
I am interested in knowing when your OB plans on discontinuing your meds. Mine says 34 weeks but I am wondering if anyone has taken it closer to term. I really do not want another preemie baby. It was very scary the last time.

i took both terbutaline and nifedipine at different points in my pregnancy. my OB stopped all meds and bedrest at 36 weeks. i gave birth at 39 weeks, 4 days.

My Dr wanted me to take it til 35 but I stopped it at 34wks. Procardia can slow down pre term contractions but I'm a firm believer in if it is true labor no medication in the world can stop it.
