question and some advice
Cadence is a super friendly little girl and is just always full of energy. She never wants to sit still. My mother said to me today that I should ask the dr if this is a problem. I was like she is 14 months and is totally normal. should i worry

Re: question and some advice
i think you should worry when she isn't active. my boy never stayed still unless he was sleeping. ds is now 16.5mos. of course if you're concerned, by all means, ask the pediatrician. no need to worry at all. it's tiring for us but great that she's so lively.

Re: question and some advice
I don't think you have anything to worry about. Toddlers are always full of energy. I am sure she is normal.

Re: question and some advice
Well, she sounds just like Ava! I don't classify Ava as normal, more like wacky, but still, I'm sure there's no real medical term for that

Re: question and some advice
Everytime my mom comes to visit the first thing out of her mouth about Alex is, "does she EVER stop?" Everytime she asks this, and everytime I retort, no. But that's exactly why she sleeps so well at night
Even our ped has commented on how much energy she seems to have, but wasn't concerned. He was more impressed, and has always been advising me that I have to be extra vigilant in finding activities for her that are stimulating

Re: question and some advice
Although my experience is limited...her behavior sounds normal to me. At their age, children are more impulsive and now that they now how to get around on their own and that they have more independence they are eager to explore. We take the things around us for granted but these little people find even the smallest thing to be so amazing and intriguing.
It's like asking us to sit still in a shoe store - not possible.

Totally normal. My DS is the same way. Only sits still when sleeping.
(Someone said make sure not to much sugar in diet, but I don't believe that)

I am convinced DS forgot how to walk......he only runs or jumps wherever he is going.
