I purposely didn't go there because I want to see what people think of her as a potential president in her own right. So would you vote for her based on her policies and stance on the issues that are important to you.

I would definitely not vote for any radical conservative.
However, i think she would have been laughed out of the primaries had she run on her own.

Not necessarily. Many people vote AGAINST a candidate. I didn't vote FOR Kerry, I voted AGAINST Bush.
When asked 4 years ago, I admitted that I wouldn't vote FOR Kerry. In the context of this thread, there is no need for an opponent. By stating that it depends on who they were running against, it leans towards you not voting FOR Palin.

Lol this actually makes me laugh. Alot of people on the boards dont like her because they view are as being to extreme. Meanwhile Barack a similair candidate on the opposite end of the spectrum is just as extreme.
go figure. I wonder how many people here would still hate her if she was pro-choice.
Atleast she has proven she will go after both Democrats and Republicans if she doesn't agree with their policies. Unlike Obama who has proved he can speak well in front of a teleprompter.

I don't think Barack Obama is extreme, he actually leans too far to the right for my liking.
I honestly don't care if any candidate is pro-life or pro choice..it's not the deal breaker for me, but it's likely that if she were pro choice she'd have different views on sex education, etc, so she'd be a vastly different candidate on the whole.

I wouldn't vote for her even if she were pro-choice.
Though abortion is an important issue with me, it's not the only issue I look at in a candidate. She supports other policies that I think are equally important that I am against.

As a possible McCain/Palin voter, no I would NOT vote for her on her own. If she came back in many years with some good experience behind her - I would vote for her then bc I do share most of her views.

I didn't start the poll so that we could compare candidates. I started it to see if people would vote for her if she were running for president - because fact is, she very well could be our president in the future.
