Bartholin's Gland Cyst

Has any one ever had one? I"ve had this nuissance for a year now....I was diagnosed with this cyst last May and then somehow it must've dissipated inside my body. For a year I've had pain....after numerous trips to my GYN and seeing about 4 nurse practitoners who said that they didn't see any thing/feel any thing, I began seeing a specialist...probably for about 6 months. After continous pain, they recently did a Pelvic MRI and I got my results today.....I have this cyst internally...and it's fairly large....no wonder why on certain days I can barely sit/walk. The Specialist's Nurse Practitioner said I was most likely going to be referred to a Uro Gynecologist who would do a marsupulization procedure. Has any one ever had this done? How long is the recovery time and what is this procedure like? I'm a nervous wreck. I'm going away to Disney in June and I'm dreading a long recovery time....I'm sure it's not, but I need some reassurance...any input would be great ladies...thanks so much in advance
