Do you ever just lose things in your home?

I lost my favorite bra...Chat Icon Have no idea where it is. I actually just realized about 2 weeks ago that I haven't seen it for a while. I went through my underwear drawer and my t-shirt drawer-not here!

My 2yo daughter loves my bras (she calls them "boobies" and loves to "try them on"). If she took it and just forgot it somewhere it can be anywhere, just absolutely anywhere... I can't even imagine where to look...Chat Icon

I lose stuff all the time around the house and usually find what I am looking for either under the bed or a under a couch.

all the time!! my DH teases me, but I make piles of things to keep myself organized, which he hates, and usually if an item is missing, it's b/c DH attempted to "clean up" the piles. Chat Icon

I once found one of my bras stuffed down the side of one of our recliners. I have no clue how it got there. Chat Icon

Hmm, it seems a lot of people found bras under couches... I haven't look there yet, certainly a possibility...

Don't even talk to me about losing important papers... I have a story on that topic that I will never ever live down: I lost a plastic pouch where I kept our car title, our marriage certificate and my children's birth certificates and SS cards. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. DH had to get a replacement of the title which was a big pain in the a$$, because he sold the car to get a bigger one. A few months after that my parents went to China and brought me a little metal elephant for good luck. I went to put in into our china cabinet and there, behind a tall crystal vase, I found the freakin' pouch with all the papers in it!!!!Chat Icon I hid it really, REAAAALY well!Chat Icon

Yes....and it's usually because DH has not put something back where it belongs, lol.

Chat Icon That was always my mother's solution too. No matter WHAT went missing, her advice was always to "Look beneath the couch!" haha. And that's where most things would be found too. She's a smart woman, I tell you! Chat Icon

As for me -- yesssssss! I don't know how we manage to lose things, but things do tend to disappear from time to time. Grrr.
