What car do you drive? Mini Van, SUV?

Do you just have the twins or other children as well? I am wondering if we are going to need a new car. Currently we have the Jeep Commander and I just feel like the backseat is tight and the 3rd row we don't use because it's actually not convenient to get to. Wondering if we should be looking around or will 3 car seats (Convertible and 2 snugrides) fit back there?!

When the babies were born we had a trailblazer. DS was on one side with his britax and then the babies were middle and other side. It took DH some rearranging to make it fit but he finally did.

We had to get a new car when the babies went to convertible seats....we got a minivan

I have an SUV with a third row. Only have the twins though.

I have 1 DS who is 2.5 right now. Our lease is up on our Ford Edge and we are in the process of leasing a Toyota Sienna (minivan).

I was anti minivan for a while. But when I saw the bells and whistles on the Sienna I just had to have it. Automatic doors, trunk, DVD, climate control, heated seats...I am super excited!

i just have the twins.
we have a Santa Fe.
i love it and they fit comfortably in it. but we can't fit anyone else in the back.

if i ever had another we would definitely need a mini van i think

We need to start looking,too. We have a maxima and a scion tx 2 door. I don't want to go the minivan route but I think we have to!

We have and I already drove Toyota4Runner. If we have more(thats the plan, just not yet)to buy a minivan. In the 4Runner there is room in the middle-its tight, I usually sit there if we have a guest.

we have our DD who is 27 months and i will be having twins next month and we have a van and i can tell im totally going to need every inch of that van lol, my daughter alone takes up so much room with her and her "stuff" lol

Reluctantly we have a mini van...my small suv had alot of miles on it and my aunt sold us her van at an amazing price we coiuldn't pass up. I know we wouldn't be able to buy a new truck anytime soon so it just made sense. I will love the room but still not loving the idea of a mini van

I just bought a Suburban in May.... it was really hte only vehicle tht would fit the 3 car seats and all my dam stuff....and a triple stroller....

We just got a minivan (Honda Odyssey). Been driving a Jetta since the twins were born, and it was fine, although getting tight. Since DC#3 is on the way, we needed something bigger, and if I was going to go bigger, I wanted the comfort of a minivan.

We have a Honda Odyssey. We bought it over 2 years ago when we just had DD. She is now 4. I love it. The sliding doors are the BEST. Now, I'm just anxious about moving DD to the third row when the twins come. She might fit in the middle of them. We'll see...

Having the same problem...I have 05 honda cr-v and a DS 20 months old and twins on the way. I found a couple of car seats that work- not many though

Mini Van...We have a older child. We couldnt fit 3 carseats in either of our cars ( which were an Altima and a Pontiac gran Prix)..so we sold the altima and got a slightly used Mini Van.

i have the x5 with a 3rd row and it is soooo tight!
when we have the 3rd row up, there is no truck space and it is so tight that no one wants to sit back there anyway (a car seat or booster wont fit either).
right now we have 3 car seats across the back row - my oldest DS in the middle and the 2 car seat bases on the sides (its the only way we could fit 3 car seats in there). it is working for the time being, but it is not convenient at all. i am looking into some other options now...i think i need to get something bigger.
