Severe gas pain? UPDATE
Has anyone gotten a gas pain that doesnt move for hours?
I have this bad pain in my lower left side..it feels like gas, it hurts when i move or touch it.
Has anyone had a pain like this?

I went to the DR. because the pain got SO bad. Apparently...its roung ligament syndrome! I have heard of it...but I didn't know it could hurt that much!!

First trimester I had really bad gas pains, warm water bottle by the belly helps. It lasted for a few hours. Some people tried Gas X ,but I'd check with your doc first.

This has been since 9am. SAME SPOT.
Im just worried its something bad.
But I am assuming its gas. If I still have it in the AM i may call my Dr.

I went to hospital on Christmas with a pain in my upper abdomen,kinda where my diaphragm would be. It hurt in same spot for days, hurt to the touch,hurt to even walk. They tested me for everything even gall stones. nothing. Gas X and tums, prevacid through IV did not help me either.
Next day I felt so much better.
I went for follow up with OB and she thinks it was gas. I said no because it hurt to the touch but she said if you are that distended with gas it could be.
I would call your OB just to check.

Last Sunday I woke up with exactly what you are describing.
I spent the day crying on and off and laying in my bed or on my couch.
I went to bed and Monday it had subsided about 50%. By Tuesday I felt fine. I really do think it was gas. I never had an episode like that with my first pregnancy.
I hope you feel better....it was one painful experience!

With my first pg, yes, all the time.
Get on all 4s on the floor and rock like a baby starting to crawl, that usually moves it. If you don't have luck with that, do log rolls. It'll break up, I swear!

ITA....rolling movements move the gas. Chamomile Tea without sugar helps relieve gas too.

Yes I have had that before and it lasted for a few hours. It hurts and I remember moving making it feel worse.
The only time it felt better was when I went to the bathroom. Give it time!

I get that all the time Like at least once a week it is horrible feels like a contraction almost since I have to breath it out! lol I try to move if i can and walk around to loosen it up once I burp I feel like a new woman! ha ha good luck

I had it on and off for a few days in a row. Terrible in the evening/night, better in the morning then all over again. It's been bad this pregnancy, just had it again yesterday. Better today overall. It was typically lower right side and would even go around to my back. Hot showers did help a little.
