If you went to a Dev. Ped. or got your child evaluated outside of EI/CPSE...

did you provide your therapists and EI/CPSE with a copy of the report they gave you with their findings? I would think I should definetely give a copy to his current speech therapist and OT.

I plan on using the report to get the maximum services for DS for next year.

Re: If you went to a Dev. Ped. or got your child evaluated outside of EI/CPSE...

we had an outside eval done through Hofstra, and we did give the report to his therapists.

AJ was receiving so much already, and the reports were more or less the same, so we didnt push for more.

at the time of the eval, he was already receiving 10 ABA, 3 speech, 3 OT and 1 PT

DS currently gets 4 speech, 2 OT and a SEIT 2x's a week at nursery school. I want to make sure his services stays the same for next year...I especially dont want to lose the speech.

I was also going to give his nursery school teacher a copy of the report. She has been wonderful and even attended a review meeting back in October to help increase his services and get a SEIT. We speak once a week, or every other, about how he is doing in school. She is also in contact with his speech teacher occasionally. I feel the report would help her with DS at school.

My concern is giving a copy of her findings to his therapists and teachers can only help him, not hurt him???
