Re: Eczema
I always get bad eczema on my hands...especially constantly washing my hands because of my kids and the nasty winter.
Best thing that works is at night smother your hands with either vaseline or aquaphor and put socks on them to keep in all the moisture. My mother did it when I was younger and I do it now as an adult. Usually my eczema is clear after 2 nights of doing this.

Re: Eczema
Gentle Naturals Baby Excema Cream.
You can get it at CVS, it's in the baby aisle. It's the best!! If you can't find that, I would go with Aquaphor.

Re: Eczema
I have it on my hands too, as well as other places but the hands are the worst because they're always exposed. What helps me the most is a prescription from my dermatologist. I also use Avon's moisture therapy intensive treatment hand cream. It's the only hand cream that works for me.

I second this. My kids both get some mild excema on their hands and I do as well. Strangely, we don't have it anywhere else. Every ngiht I put acquafor on all of us - I put on those disposable rubber gloves the dr.'s use over them for myself to keep it in and it works really good. For the kids i just rub in enough that it pretty much dissolves on the skin.

Re: Eczema
I have this too and usually need medication for it. However........... since I'm hoping to get pregnant soon I've been hesitant to use that stuff since the medicated ointment I used supposedly isn't safe.
I found the BEST hand cream from Kiehls and it's better than any other medicated ointment I have EVER used!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. AMAZING! Even my DH notices a HUGE difference in my hands! Best thing is I can use it as much as I want. The medication you really can only use a limited amount of or it thins your skin (at least mine did)
