Our CPSE meeting went SO Well!
I think I posted after the evals that we werent sure where we stood. We were 50% the speech would ocntinue and his fine motor skills are more then 2 SD's below, we knew we'd get some O/t.
Noahs SE teacher said she highly doubted we'd be offered any continued classroom programs because of what progress he made and her observations/testing.
Well it was like a gift. I didnt even have to talk.
They offered us SUMMER. M-F half day with bus and all services continued, but O/T reduced to once a week just for maintenence.
And M-F half day for next school yr. This takes us all the way to kindergarten.
I was shocked ( the SE teach was shocked!) ....
They think its because we are new to the district or b/c of Noahs past history of severe regression from 'normal' attitude wise towards things to complete almost muteness and severe anxiety.
I'm SO SO happy and RELIEVED!

Great news! I hope he continues to thrive. And maybe he can eventually phase out later on for K. So proud of him!!!!!
