CPSE Meeting
Overall, I think it went well, and I don't know why I was so nervous about this meeting. DS was approved for:
3x Occupational Therapy (2x a week in a sensory gym which I really wanted, but didn't think I would get)
5 hours a week w a SEIT
2 x a week pragmatic speech therapy
4 1 hr. sessions Family Therapy
The only thing I wanted that we were not offered at this point is a social skills group for DS, so we may need to pursue this on our own--it was felt the pragmatic speech should cover this, but I do think he needs a bit more.
The CPSE committee wants an FBA from the SEIT also, so we are meeting again in a month to see if additional therapies are warranted, so this is where I can make my case for a social skills group also.
But, I was so glad his sensory issues were acknowledged, and are getting some treatment from the school district for them (though probably we have his fine motor delays to thank for them).
We're starting almost everything next week!

Re: CPSE Meeting
As you know, I am so happy your district was easy going and able to give your ds any support they feel would help.
It's such a good feeling to know that everything is heading in a positive direction.
I hope your ds has amazing therapists and his need for them is short :)
