Kindergarten screening - WWYD?
E is scheduled for her kindergarten screening next week in our current SD. We're *hopefully* signing contracts on a new house this week in a neighboring district.
Should I take her to the screening anyway? Screening has already been completed in the new district, so she'll have to be screened again when she starts in Sept.
Part of me thinks its a waste of time to go, part of me doesn't want to jinx the house deal by NOT going, part of me wonders if its good practice for her for next time...
thoughts? WWYD?

If it were me..Id still bring her. Just incase something falls through ...and also..like you said..its good practice anyway. GL with going into contract!!

I would take her...I know in our district, spots and class size are such an issue that if the child registers after June 1, they have to go to the school with the lower enrollment, regardless of distance from your house to school.
