If you had sinus surgery - another question for you - did you take steroids before and after?
My Dr. has me taking prednisone for a few days leading up to the surgery and for two weeks after the surgery but, not the day of surgery - wondering if this is common? I really don't like taking prednisone! I am so nervous about this surgery! TIA!

Yeas, again, it was DH, not me. But he started on 5 mg prednisone per day. He's been on it since his surgery last month and he begins tapering off it next week.

Thought this might help....a guy on google documented everything with his surgery by date, time and so forth. Thought it might give you some insight.Sinus Surgery

Honestly, this has made me even more petrified and, doesn't say anything about the steroid question

They did it for me. It helps clear up the area so they can work easier.
