Food for 1st Birthday
I can't believe I am getting ready to start planning my LO's first birthday!
I am trying to plan the menu but at a loss--it is in August and it'll be outside. I'd prefer not to BBQ b/c then someone always gets stuck at the grill.
I was thinking for main dishes: asst. wraps green salad pasta salad of some type
no ideas for apps.
and dessert will be cake/cupcakes, cookies, and fruit salad.
Clearly I need some help! Any ideas would be great!

Re: Food for 1st Birthday
We're doing the same type of food you're talking about. I'm calling it "picnic food." Ordering wraps, making green salad and potato salad (pasta salad got scrapped for time, but whipping up a simple one for the kiddos - just pasta and veggies). Going simple on the apps - tortilla chips & salsa, pita chips, veggies & hummus. Dessert - cake & fruit. I don't think it needs to be fancy.
