Moms with infants..Does it bother you when..
Does it bother you when your infant burps or passes wind and everybody laughs EVERYtime. Is it really that funny? And then MIL says that she is a pig and very unlady like. This bothers me. Am I alone.

I actually think it's hysterical when dd does it...No joke, sometimes I don't know if it's her or dh!!!
But, I can see how it would get annoying if people kept making comments. Are they joking though, or serious?

This is exactly along the lines of what I was thinking you could say...Something that doesn't come off as mean, but definitely gets the point across!

I always just ask the person commenting if she learned it from them.
But it doesn't really bother me. DH and I look at each other and giggle after every single large fart lol. We're such kindergardeners!

It doesn't bother us at all...we all laugh because it is cute. She is a baby and has no idea what she is doing.
ETA: I would be bothered by the "unlady like" comment if MIL was serious.

it bothers me when ppl call them piggies. i always tell them to say excuse me for my burpies. i want them to learn manners early, not think their pigs

Doenst bother me at all really.
I am the one to make comments all the time at DS passing gas....seriously my kid can out fart a 400lb man!!!!

In my house, farts are ALWAYS funny - ALWAYS. When DS farts, he laughs and it is hilarious.
