crib and rolling over
DD, 7 months, just started rolling over hard core this past weekend. She rolls from her belly to back to belly and creeps around on her stomach, and can sit up from lying down. I used to be able to plot her in the crib, turn on the mobile and shut the door and she'd sleep. Now, she rolls all over the place in her crib and rocks on her hands and knees and gets into all these positions that it takes her over an hour to fall asleep and she cries and.. well, it's much harder. On top of that, I've always been told no bumpers, and now I am afraid she's fall back or to the side when sitting up and hit her head hard on the wood of the crib. What do you guys do? The breathable bumpers are not soft and do nothing but prevent the binky from falling out. How to I help her fall asleep and not move everywhere? (our bedtime routine is still the same), and what do you do about the banging the head situation???
TIA!

Re: crib and rolling over
We use bumpers. DS is almost 11 months old and he's been rolling around in his crib since he was around 7 months. You can't prevent them from moving. If she eventually falls asleep I wouldn't worry about it - as long as she's not full on screaming her lungs out.
For us, we do our night time routine, we usually put him in the crib awake, and he moves from one side of the crib to the other for about 10 minutes until he falls asleep.
