New Here-Looking for some support and advice

Hi Ladies,
I'm new to LIF and am not sure if I'm posting on the right board, but I am looking for some advice....

My DH and I have been TTC #2, and this past Sunday I got my BFP. My cycles vary from 27-31 days, so I was guessing I was about 2 days late when I took the test on Sunday. I went to the Dr's yesterday, and two tests there showed negative, so they took my blood. I took another digital test first thing this morning, and got another positive. My Dr called this afternoon to tell me my hcg level was very low (23) and that this was probably a chemical pregnancy. She said I would have gotten another positive test, because there is a trace amount in my system. She indicated that I could go into the office tomorrow for another blood test, but at this point, I feel defeated and not sure....what would you all do? Also, I asked what is the next step, and she said, we just wait for your period to come. My other question is, has anyone else ever found themselves in this situation before? If so, how long until your period came?

You should definitly get another blood test. I had a friend who has a one year old dd and her first beta was only a 19.

I had a chemical back in May. My beta were 13, and than 12 so I knew I was going to mc. I started bleeding 9 days after I got a bfp.

Go for another test and don't count yourself out yet! It could just be really early and I hope this is the case for you;)

Thank you ladies for all your kind words and support. I did go in for another beta yesterday, but unfortunately I did start to bleed this morning.

I am sad, but relieved at the same time that I know for sure what is happening.

I'm sorryChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon The only light I could point out in your direction right now is that if this pregnancy is not meant to be things are taking care of themsselves early before it could get complicated. REgardless...the heartache and saddness still hurts and I'm hopoing you can move on very fastChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
