 #2: he is 8 months now and takes 2 unassisted steps here and there and started that a 7.5 months.

B is a freak of nature and walked at 9 1/2 months 
c followed him a month later at 10.5 months
I truly think if he didnt watch B all day he would not have walked till much later

DS #1 was pulling up and crusing at 8 months and fully walking by 10.5 months....he really took off.

DD - 14 months
DS - 16 months (but he wore a cranial helmet for good 6+ months, which PT said would probably delay his walking)

DD didn't start walking until she was 15 & 1/2 months....she wasn't really even crusing at 1 or standig unassisted. She was too interested in crawling. They all walk when they are ready

DD1 was just before 10 months without help
DD2, on her exact birthday! She too was scared to walk on her own & then all of a sudden, the night of her birthday she walked right across the room!

My dd just turned 1 on friday. SHe has been cruising for months. But she seems scared of walking. If I put her infront of a walking toy she gets scared and automatically sits down. She can stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything but it seems like when she realizes she gets scared and then drops down. I know its too early to worry about her not walking but I am curious since so many babies I know are/were walking by their 1st bday
Feel free to post the exact age
Jess, L is the exact same way!! She cruises, she crawls, she'll pull herself up to standing and hang on with one hand... but she'll stand alone for like 5 seconds and panics. Every baby is different. I know one little boy that was walking at 10 months and another 16 month-old that took his first steps this weekend.
