What do you both do?
I've worked in the mortgage industry pretty much my entire career. I've done everything from the very beginning of a file to post closing/QC.
Right now I work for a real estate atty.
DH has done a little bit of everything. Admin positions, payroll, HR, and at the atty's office he was a processor (basically he cleared files to go to closing and dealt with the clients before closing).
I appreciate everyone's hugs and prayers. We called a bunch of our bills today and are trying to lower the ones we can. I will prob try to get a part time job at a retail place so that it doesn't effect his unemployment.
Yesterday was by far one of the worst days in my working career. They ended up laying off 39 people. We sat there as they called each one into an office and let them go. There were 15 people on my side of the office. There are now 4 of us.
