antibiotic question
I just got home from the ENT bc I keep having sinus issues. He gave me a steriod and and antibiotic. I am undecided if I should take the steriod. My gf said that steriods make you moody and not yourself.
I have never taken a steriod before.
What should I do?

Re: antibiotic question
Steroids help sinus issues because they cut down the sinus inflammation which lets mucus flow more freely.
Antibiotics only for sinus issues don't do it for me, I need anitbiotics plus steroids for it to help.
I'm usually on steroids 4+ times a year for it, but I have severe, chronic sinus problems.

Re: antibiotic question
Steriods usually help my sinuses feel alot better sooner by bringing down the inflammation. I have gotten steroid shots and then pills to take. The only thing I noticed was the last time I took them, my period was off. Other than that I was ok

Re: antibiotic question
I've taken them before - the first two days, I felt off.
Best advice - take them in the morning b/c they always keep me wide awake.
