Daycare Moms... Monday Mornings
The worst! It's like MOVE IN day at daycare. I feel like I need luggage to bring in all the boy's stuff. Especially when their inventory is low and I get the dreaded "list" of what is needed.
Today my trunk was filled with... diapers for DS2, wipes for DS2, Geber cereal for DS2, clean sheets and bibs for DS2, clean sheets for DS1, two lunch boxes, and cleaned sippy for DS1
I think I made about 4 or 5 trips in. At least one of them was bringing in the boys and of course it's the morning DS1 didn't want to walk in
Happy Monday

That's so funny because i was just thinking how I dread Monday's. Especially when you get the list. I got that long list Friday. So I had a few bags and then I had to carry the car seat in because ds is 7 months.
I feel your pain.

Re: Daycare Moms... Monday Mornings
yes i hate mondays for this reason. I take home all sheets blankets, utensils and bowls to do a cleaning of everything. So monday i am restocking all of that plus snacks and fruit and veg jars for the week. If i have to refiill on diapers and wipes on mondays it is 10x worse.

Re: Daycare Moms... Monday Mornings
My day care cleans all the sheets and blankets themselves. I haven't seen that stuff since I dropped it off a year and half ago.
The only thing I provide is diapers and we all pitch in $15 every couple of months for wipes.

Re: Daycare Moms... Monday Mornings
I’m generally ok with Mondays. I have to bring in her blanket (used to be sheets too but she doesn’t like them and she uses her large blanket as a ‘taco wrap’ type thing for nap time. That’s it.
Today however was a little more difficult. Since she can’t walk it was a bit tougher carrying her in and handing her off (literally). Poor baby. hurt more since as I was carrying her (something I don't normally do) she was holding my neck tight saying "I miss you"

YES! THIS is why I hate Mondays. I dont really have to bring much in except sheets and a blanket. But on Monday mornings after spending the whole weekend at home with me, he doesnt want to let go It's like dropping him off for the very first time all over again. I dread it every week...

Re: Daycare Moms... Monday Mornings
Totally agree... Mondays stink, plus of course after being home all weekend DD never wants to go to school and wants to stay home with me, breaks my heart every single time.
