Changing nipple flow

My DS is 2 months, when did you change the nipple from slow to medium?
We went for his 2 month checkup today and I forgot to ask if we can move to a medium flow nipple.

Thanks so much!

I think I changed it around 3 months. DD was sucking too hard on the nipple and it was collapsing so it was time to move up to a medium flow.

My DD is 5.5 months and we still haven't changed it. She takes 2 or 3 bottles a day and is BF the rest of the time. I was afraid that if we went to faster flow, she'd find *my* flow annoyingly slow. Chat Icon With the slow flow she can still finish a 6 oz bottle in under 10 minutes, though, so she's a powerful chugger.

Never changed it. I dont know if I will. I read you dont need to. She's mostly BF, and a few bottles here or there.

Re: Changing nipple flow

Thanks ladies! After reading your comments I don't think I am going to change for now, he eats the bottle quick and the nipple doesn't get inverted when he eats.
Thanks again!
