DD keeps banging her head back???

DD keeps doing this when she's in her high chair? I'm pretty sure she does this when she's tired, but she doesn't stop and it's constantly in her high chair no matter which meal it is. We spend our whole meal trying to get her to stop. Chat Icon We're afraid she's going to hurt herself. I've seen her do this a couple of other times elsewhere but mainly in her highchair. Any suggestions? At school she eats in a little chair at a little table. Maybe she doesn't like eating in her high chair anymore? Chat Icon Chat Icon

How old is she? Is it just in her highchair? Do you have a booster or something else you can try?

DS hits his head when he's frustrated. He has expressive delays so when he can't tell me he doesn't want something or doesn't feel well he'll bang his head.
He's also not a big eater so if I put food in front he doesn't like he'll hit his head in the highchair.
He's 2.5, but we've been working with him on it and distraction and bribery works.
Depends on her age though.
Is it just in the highchair she does it? When the food comes that she doesn't want?

my DD doesn't bang the back of her head but she bangs her heels against things like the highchair, bouncer or even her crib when she's really tired. It'll be repetitive banging for a few minutes. Maybe your DD is tired or bored?

It's normal. It's a new feeling. IT will stop soon. DD did this for a while when she figured out how to move her head back
