Monitoring ? IUI

I am curious about how much information your RE office gives you regarding your bloodwork. I just had my first IUI. I was monitored with U/S and bloodwork. I read all of the beta #'s and progesterone levels that many of you post, however...they never give me any info!!! I got my 7 day post IUI blood drawn today and even had to ask what they are looking for and they just say "to see that everything is normal" I asked what exactly she was talking about and said just the progesterone levels. She said they wouldn't call unless there was a problem otherwise "see you in a week" It's a little frustrating that they don't explain results or provide any info unless you directly ask and even then they give you a run around. I met the RE once about 4 months ago for a consult and haven't seen or spoken to him since!!! A nurse even did the IUI!Is this normal?? How do you get so much info from your RE 's office?Thanks

Is there someone else you can speak to at the office who may be more willing to give you more information?
I haven't gotten to the step of IUI yet and i don't even know what any of those numbers mean...but sending lots of and your way

I know how you feel because at the RE I went to i sometimes felt like i was never really given the attention needed and nothing explained to me and mostly saw nurses... but a nurse never did the IUI for me, it was always a doctor! Hope it works out for you!

I'm starting this process as well as was wondering the same questions. What RE do you go to? I recently called to ask about my LH surge bloodwork. If I didn't call I wonder if/when they would have called me.

I go to East Coast Fertility. So frustrating.
