Do you have a nightlight....
in your childs room? My granddaughter has always had a nightlight in her room. My daughter just put her into a toddler bed and had to rearrange things in the room. She moved the furniture to cover the outlets so she can't go touching plugs, etc. if she should wake and just hang out in her room. Right now there is no place to put the nightlight. We thought it would be a good idea to have one, just in case she wakes in the dark, gets out bed and is walking around in her room, Just wondering if you have a nightlight in your babies room?

We have a dimmer on her ceiling chandelier, so we keep it on very low each night. It may be worth it to call an electrician and install a dimmer switch. It "s very cheap to do

No we never had one her room. She is 20 months now and still in her crib.
The dimmer sounds like a good idea for her though.

Yes,in both DC's rooms and one in the bathroom now that DD is potty trained. DD actually has a strand of christmas lights hanging in her room to use at night.

My twins are 19 months and have never had one in their room. But they are still in their cribs. Im not sure what we'll do when they change over to a bed.

We do but it's more for us in case we need to go in at night. We have sometimes not used it. I will keep it even when she's out of the crib

we do now, but never used to. i found a cool one that dd really liked, so i bought it for her - it projects fish onto the ceiling.
ikea (and probably some other stores) have lights that plug in or are battery powered that can sit on a night stand or dresser.

This exactly. Still at 2 I go in and check on DD every night, we have the nightlight so I don't fall!

What about using the turtle/lady bug things that are made by Cloud B? You can put it on the top of the dresser. Unfortunately I think it only stays on for an hour though.

yes in both my kiddies room and they are 4 and 3..but it is mostly for me - when i have to go in there to check on them for some reason!

we have a munchkin sound machine/light projector. Its on the top of a tall book case and provides a light show on the ceiling. DD loves it. We used the homedics one since she was a baby, but it kept breaking. The munchkin one seems to be sturdier. It also has a feature that you don't have to use the projection, but can just have a glow like a night light. Love this thing.
