My 1.5 year old has always been an early riser anywhere from 445-530. My oldest 2.5 became an early riser at 1. Hrs up by 5-530.

My kids have always been early risers. We're up between 6:30-7:15 most days. DS are 5.5 and 2.

Re: Parents who had early risers: Did they grow out of it?
my son wakes between 6 and 7, recently closer to 6...
he stays in his crib playing quietly for about an hour. we leave a book or two and everynight before bed, he can choose 1 toy to take in with him. this keeps him quiet for that extra hour.
does she stay in her crib awake for any amount of time? i think some time is good, lets them "wake up"

Re: Parents who had early risers: Did they grow out of it?
My son is in 3rd grade and he still gets up at 6am. the only difference is now he gets up, gets his own cereal and watches tv until the rest of us wake up.
My 1st grader would sleep all day if we let him, nd he usedvto be an early riser.

I hope so! Ever since ds has been in his toddler bed, he is out of his room at 6am. I just walk him back to bed & tell him it's too early to wake up. Most of the time, he'll fall back asleep for an hour.

Re: Parents who had early risers: Did they grow out of it?
DS is up everyday at 6:30 like clockwork. Hes my alarm clock lol. But it actually works well for us because we have to be up and ready to leave by 8 everyday cause i have to work. It just really sux on the weekends lol.
And from my understanding, it really doesnt get any better. My nephew has been getting up at 6am everyday since he was a baby...hes 12 now.

My oldest has always been an early riser. Since he was a baby he was up for the morning at 6. No matter what time he goes to bed he is still up early.

My sister used to wake up early....34 years later she still can't sleep past 7AM.
I would just guide her to become a teachers since she will be up so early!

Re: Parents who had early risers: Did they grow out of it?
Ugh, dd is up between 5 and 5:45 every day. Before the clocks sprung forward, it was 4 to 4:45. I don't want to go back to that in the fall! I just pray she grows into an early riser instead of super early. 7am would be amazing
