Kate - Due 1/3/13, but will have a scheduled C section in December, so not sure if I should join this thread or the other one?
I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow and i'm nauseous all day long!

Well I went in for the ultrasound today and am very disappointed. Measurements show the sac is only 4 weeks along while I should be 6 weeks and 5 days.
It's my 2nd consecutive m/s so I feel really numb after hearing the news. The only good thing that came out of the visit is knowing I won't have to go through a D&C.
The OB suggested doing another blood test in case I was wrong about the AF date but I'm positive it's correct. I don't even know if I should bother doing the blood test again and get my hopes up...
I'm sorry, try to stay positive

are you postivei of when you O'd? Could that have been later than you thought? A later O date plus late implantation could make a huge difference with the date!

I'm not sure about the O and implantation time but I'm pretty regular.... I'm not going to get my hopes up but will do the blood test anyway just to be sure...
I guess the miscarriage explained the lack of pregnancy symptoms. :(

they weren't able to tell you exactly how far you were by the sonogram?
The sonogram showed the baby measured 6 weeks 4 days, they originally had me in at 6 weeks 6 days. However, that's for a 28 day cycle and my cycles are usually 30 days. Plus they didn't take into consideration that I may have ovulated later then expected.
At first I was a little worried that it was 2 days less, but then when I thought about those other factors it made more sense to me. I guess the true test will be when I go back in 2 weeks to see how the baby has grown, so nerve wracking!

2 days isn't too far behind. When I went for my sonogram they had me 1 day ahead what I thought I was. But the doc said that the machine is measuring something SO small so I don't think 1 or 2 days is something to worry about.

Thanks, I didn't even need to go to get the blood test 'cus I started bleeding yesterday. I was red and not brown so I guess it's official... :(

Went in for testing on Wednesday, Beta was 258. Doctor called me this morning (Friday) asked me to come for another test, and beta dropped down to half (100's). Sent me to NY Presb. for an internal, and saw that it was an ectopic. Gave me my shot of Metax and sent me home.
I loved being here with you girls, and wish you all the best and healthy pregnancies.
I'm heading out and hope to be back this board soon!

Ugh I’m sorry-I’m just getting so frustrated with my Mother. I just wish she was more willing to do things. She didn’t help plan my bridal shower; didn’t help ME when I was planning my sisters bridal shower AND two baby showers (one was a sprinkle). And the other day I mentioned to her that she might want to start getting the idea of a baby shower in her mind. Her response was “Oh no; I’m not throwing you your shower…that’s what your friends are for”.
So today I sent her a picture of a furniture set I liked and she said maybe my FIL would get it for me. I said how about my own mother offer to get it for me. I know my hormones are probably making me more sensitive then is necessary. But it’s so frustrating! I guess I couldn’t have expected anymore since she didn’t do anything for my sister…what would make me think she’d change and do anything for me?
I just wish she wouldn’t dismiss things so fast and put them on other people. I would have much preferred a response of let me think about it and get back to you; or let me see. Not just saying NO right away…
Sorry! I just needed to vent!

That really sucks to hear about your mom! But at least now you know not to expect much instead of expecting something and getting let down. That is really unfortunate though because everyone wants their mommy to be there for them.
On another note how are all you Jan mommies doing??
I am only like 6weeks 3days and I feel like I am hungry allllllllll the time! MS hasn't kicked in yet thankfully...but if I don't eat I get quesy...and sometimes right after I eat, but then it goes away.
3 more days until my first U/S!!!! It can't come quick enough!!

hi! we had our first appt yesterday  saw out bean and heard the heatbeat! everything looked great. they did find a small SC hematoma and we have a few other things going on which could complicate the pregnancy but otherwise, the baby looks great. By LMP, I am due 1/25 but by U/S I am due 1/29 so we will see if the baby catches up to 1/25. I will be a repeact csection so regardless, I will go at 39w.
 Next appt is 6/19!

hi everyone! im a january mommy to be, just not sure of my due date yet bc i have wacky cycles. i have my first appointment this week so ill know it soon.
anyone else nauseous ALL day?? i cant believe how sick i feel and how tired i am this early on! with my first pregnancy i didnt feel this exhausted till my 2nd trimester!!
