GI Doctor Affiliated with Stony Brook Hospital?
My dad has been seeing Dr. Brown who is affiliated with St. Vincent's Hopsital in NYC, but the long commute for every appointment and procedure is really taxing on him and us, his family. He has multiple gastro issues including Barrett's Esophagus, Pancreatitis, as well as liver disease caused by Hep C. We REALLY need to find a GOOD and experienced GI here on LI, preferably affiliated with Stony Brook.
Does anyone have a recommendation?
We would all really appreciate it!

DH works with GI dr's on LI. I asked him and he recommended Dr. Buscaglia based on your dad's issues. HTH!

all the GI docs at SB are wonderful. I see Dr Nagula and love him, i have worked with dr bucobo, and Dr viswanathan, they are are fantastic as well.
