.:: Official AUGUST 2012 Mommy to be Thread! ::.
Had my first internal Tuesday night @ 36w 5d & im already 2cm dilated! Doc said he generally doesnt see 1st timers that dilated already & should hopefully mean an easy delivery.
DD is full term today & my swollen feet, swollen achy fingers, pelvis and waddling self are soo ready!!

My countdown says 0 days 9 hours. Im sooo done! At last ckup i was not dilated AT ALL! Ive resorted to doing squats and planning a spicy meal 4 dinner lol!

At my appt on Thursday I was 36+6 and was 1cm dilated, 90% effaced. Let's hope this means an easy delivery for us both!!!

On a positive note, I just picked up these coming home outfits for my Team Baby!
We are expecting a little  and have a nautical theme for him... Received lots of these lobster and crab outfits and just ADORE them!!! I love your pick for a possible little girl, too!

aww i am hoping something happens for you soon.
I know how you feel, no progress at my last appointment either... tonight i had some mexican food to see if that will get things going!
i am also delivering at winthrop

No progress once again at my 39 week appointment... i was kinda hoping for some progress since i have been having period cramps the past few nights. DS has not dropped and i am not dialated at all. I had another growth scan and the baby wasn't as estimated as big as last time (last growth sono at 36 weeks)... he is expected to be 8-8.5 lbs at birth....well it looks like more and more i am going to be late... doc said he would schedule an induction at 41 weeks, but im really hoping things can change in an instant.

I feel your pain. My due date was the 12th and here i am still pg! Ive been having mild contractions since 37 wks and im only 2cm dilated!! If i dont go on my own then i will e induced on friday. This is very frustrating!

Who is left from the August mommies?
I had another sono and internal today and all is looking good. I saw my baby and even got to see the profile of his/her face...so cute! The best part is that I'm making progress! 3cm dialated and 50% effaced! The contractions have definitely started to increase. They're mild, but I get them every day now, which is why I think the baby is making progress in engaging. They just started to get a little more painful...I hope I go soon, I'm ready! And tomorrow is my last day at work YaY!

Had my 38 week appointment last night and I'm 1cm dilated. Contractions are becoming more and more so I'm hoping it's soon. The doctor did say to have lots of  to get things going

38 week appt was last night & I'm 3 cm dilated, she's completely down...the doctor could feel DD's head.
Woke up in the middle of the night (ehh morning) for a bathroom break & had my bloody show..been losing bits of my plug all week. Hoping she's going to make her entrance soon!!
