36 weeks - baby A is 6lb6oz and baby B is 6lb3oz I'm 4cm dilated- ahhhh so anxious to know when this is going to happen!

so last friday at 35weeks 4 days i had my bpp and to my surprise she measured  she said everything looked great and was measuring right at 35weeks with the exception of her head which was 36w5days
she was measuring 5pounds 10 ounces 35%. the tech said it was on the low end but nothing to be worried about.
still having contractions. i see my doc tomorrow and get another growth sono and bpp next week.
still cant believe im 36 at 36 weeks
i have so much to do

I have my 38 week checkup on Friday and my growth sono. They're predicting another big baby so we'll see. C-section scheduled for 8/6 unless I go into labor before that point and then we'll try the vbac if she isn't too too big. I was 1 cm dilated at my 36 week appt. Also, I'm hoping to be signed out of work this Friday too!
We're almost there!!!!

.:: Official AUGUST 2012 Mommy to be Thread! ::.
My shower was Sunday and we got so much great stuff. Organizing was a bit overwhelming but I took my time and got it all done. Just need to wash the bedding and some blankets and clothes and a few other odds and ends. This weekend I am going to buy some stuff for me for after delivery and start making a list of what to pack in my bag. I am getting antsy!

Not sure if I belong here anymore or if I need to move to july ?! Baby lily is still in the NICU, her bilirubin was getting high so they started light therapy, thankfully it's working like a charm and she my finally come home tomorrow!! Please send some good vibes If you can! Otherwise she is super happy any healthy!! Will try to post pics soon!
It looks like everyone is coming along so nicely!! I can't wait till everyone starts popping! Good luck ladies and hope you don't mind me checking in :)

Maybe you can post on both boards! She was technically supposed to be an August baby but she came in July! That is so exciting. I'm sorry she had to be in the NICU but I am hoping she gets to go home with you tomorrow.  
Congrats and can't wait to see a picture.

How are all the august moms feeling?
I am so tired of not being able to bend and do a lot. I feel so uncomfortable lying in bed, standing and sitting is best when I alternate between the two.
my version is friday im getting anxious.
time seems to be moving so slow to me now.

Last week my feet and ankles started to swell. I went the entire pregnancy without it and now it's everyday no matter what. Bending is practically impossible now. I swear it just happened overnight. I am now getting sore to the touch down below. I wonder if this means will be coming earlier than my EDD.
I have my first internal today.

Doc did a culture and a sono... baby is not engaged at all yet so he did not do an internal... but apparently my baby's head is measuring 2 weeks ahead!! and also the doctor estimates the baby weighs 7.5 lbs right now, and I have a little more than 3 weeks to go!!! holy heck I am scared at the thought of pushing out a 9 lb baby!

That's great baby is so big! If it has a bigger head- then the weight estimate will be higher. So it may not be super huge but just have a big head!
My baby A has a head in the 90th % and the tech said that most of the weight estimate was coming from that, haha, poor kid.
Ask them at your next appointment if they can tell you how wide your opening is for delivery (they do this during an ineternal). One of my OB's did this with my DS and told me I would not have issues delivering because I have a larger opening (has nothing to do with hip size). I never knew they could tell that but she was right- I delivered my 8lb. boy in 20 min.s!

The swelling has started here too. Even my lips swell. Flips flops make indents in my feet :( The pressure is unreal. On a positive note, I had my 38 week appt this morning! 1cm dialated and 50% effaced!! WOOHOO!! Baby is measuring 7lbs4oz. Come on baby!!

Does anyone else get a lot of BH? I get them through the day but more so in the evening. Usually about 12min apart. Sometimes I Get cramps with them but for the most part they don't hurt just uncomfortable. Anyone else?? I keep telling my dr and he says I will know when they are real!

Ughh yes! Tons and especially at night. Last night was awful... It felt like I had a constant hard belly all night long with no let up, but no cramping feeling. A lot in the daytime too

I get a lot of braxton hicks too. usually at night. my belly gets so hard. sometimes they are painless, sometimes painful. I never time them but they usually come together and frequent but then go away for hours at a time but then come back again close together. its weird.

38 wks today and im soooo done lol! I get out of breath so quickly, my feet and fingers are swollen, i cant bend, sitting on the floor has become an olympic event for me, and i pee every 5 mins. Im exhausted!! Prob beause at the same time im chasing a 2.5 yr old.
Last night i was having contractions but they were about 20 mins apart. I honestly thought i was going into labor...then suddenly it stopped. I have another checkup tomorrow and im hoping the ob says ive made progress.

So glad the three of them are okay.
I have about 12 more days to go!! Getting nervous... I have a 1 hour (or longer with traffic) drive from my hospital. So hopefully she'll make it to the scheduled c-section.

what a story, shiv! glad your boys are here safely!
can't believe how close we are all getting, I am now exactly 3 weeks from my due date. The only thing I have left to do really is install the car seat... I am nervous for what is to come, since this is my first.
Might sound dumb but what do contractions actually feel like? I can't even feel my BH contractions (even though when I go to the doc, he says I am having them).
ETA: yesterday I felt what felt like menstrual cramps a few times, but not sure if thats what they are supposed to feel like!

I was told I was having contractions before I could feel them as well. Now I can feel them. I am a first timer too though, so I don't know for 100% but I can feel my contractions and for me it is a tightness in and around the belly, like a tight stretching. It is usually painless but sometimes can be painful, especially if back pain starts with it. And also menstrual cramping feeling. Essentially for me- It feels like your belly is hard and you are starting to get your period.

So last night I had my first contractions from 3am until about 5am.... They hurt! Haha I said to myself, I keep begging the baby to come out, ummm I don't really mind if he stays in for a while!
They weren't that close together ... Probably 4-5 an hour and it felt better standing up!
